This blog used to be about finding gratitude in something each day and taking a photo of it. However, I recently read a study that showed that finding something to be grateful for every day actually doesn't increase a person's happiness.
The study suggested that finding something each day to be grateful for actually devalued the experience and didn't make you any happier that a person who only did this once a month.
The study highlighted that being mindful of what's going on around you actually increases your happiness as it allows you to be more aware of what's going on for you without any form of judgment or any form of manipulation as you try to fit it in with what you want.
As a result, I've decided to change this photo blog a bit and it will now show a photo each day of something that I am mindful of or something that has impacted or represented my day.
